World AIDS Day 2008 officially proclaimed in Toronto!
Mayor David Miller, on behalf of the City of Toronto Council, has issued a proclamation recognizing December 1, 2008 as World AIDS Day in the City of Toronto. Written in the letter of proclamation, Mayor Miller encourages Torontonians and people around the world to raise awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS and the need to work together to stop the spread of this disease locally and globally.
