What does GLINT mean?
The GLINT challenge is the

Trivial challenge.
GLINT is a one-hour online twitter-based not-so trivial contest organized by GAD volunteers on the topic of HIV and the people and places most affected by HIV. There will be 200 questions in 1 hour, recognizing that 200 people in the world die each hour because of HIV.

- Individuals or Teams
- Teams will be self-selected – colleagues at work, lunch-mates, school-mates, family members, neighbours – any group that can gather in a huddle around a computer or smart phone for one hour on December 1
- Every individual or team will need to have a free Twitter account
When does it take place?
December 1 for one hour
Starts at 12 noon EST (5 pm GMT)
How do you play GLINT?
- Play as an individual or put together a team.
- Get a twitter account for yourself or your team. Use your own or make up a new one especially for the GLINT challenge.
- Register on the form on this page
- Plan to have your team together for one hour on World AIDS Day (Dec 1) at noon EST
- Share with others that you are participating!
What happens during GLINT?
- Questions: The @GLINTchallenge account will tweet out 200 questions in 1 hour. That is 1 question every 18 seconds. The questions will be on the topic of HIV or the people and places most affected by HIV.
- Answers: Always use the #glint hashtag
Individuals & teams from all over the world will tweet back their answers. To find the answers they can use any sources they can find. Teams may want to have an extra computer or smart phone nearby for looking up answers.
